Pathneck · Dec 29, 04:25 am by Babak Farrokhi
Pathneck is an active probing tool that can detect bottleneck location of network path. It only needs single end control, and has relatively small probing overhead.
As network administrator, I use many tiny (but very useful) tools like pathneck. You can find most of them under ports/net and ports/net-mgmt in FreeBSD ports tree.
Pathneck is also ported to FreeBSD and can be found under net/pathneck.
